PURPOSE:To hold a passenger securely and safely according to his height by a method wherein a shoulder holding mechanism and a hip holding mechanism are equipped respectively on a standing seat stanchion so that they can be adjusted up and down and these mechanisms are locked to their respective adjusted positions. CONSTITUTION:A shoulder holding mechanism 3 comprises a back holder 7 fixed to a lifting truck 5 that moves vertically along a standing seat stanchion 2 through a supporting arm 6 and a pair of right and left safety clasps 12, 13 supported on the back holder 7 so that they can be closed and opened. A hip holding mechanism 4 comprises a hip holder 22 fixed through a supporting arm 21 to a lifting truck 20 that moves vertically and the seat 23 fixed to the front side of the bottom end of the hip holder 22. These mechanisms 3, 4 are connected by the link 30 capable of relative vertical motion and locked by a lock cylinder 29 to an intended interval after adjusted. Further, the hip holding mechanism 4 is connected to a lock cylinder 33 through a link 31 and locked to an intended height after adjusted. |
