A heating insulating moulded body comprises ceramic, refractory or heat-resistant fibres and unexpanded vermiculite with a maximum grain size of 1.0mm, the ratio of ceramic fibres:vermiculite being between 80:20 and 30:70. The body also includes 5 to 40% by weight organic polymer fibrid material and a temporary or permanent bonding agent. |
