PURPOSE:To shorten the storing time of microprograms by transferring simultaneously plural microprograms from a main memory via the channel data transfer routes in response to a request received from a channel control part. CONSTITUTION:A channel control processor 3 produces a read instruction to a main memory controller 9 via a channel data transfer control part 22 and also points out the transfer destination of data to a route selecting part 23. In this case, plural channels can be defined as the data transfer destinations. The part 22 receives data from the controller 9 and turns on only the output of the past 23 corresponding to a pointed channel 26, for example, to transfer the data to the channel 26. The channel 26 stores the received data into a control memory 30. As a result, the microprograms can be simultaneously stored in plural channels and therefore the storing time of the microprogram can be shortened.
