Appts. comprises the following wet feed, transfer unit, washer-classifier preparation unit, storage unit, level indicator and press. The transfer unit is connected to the water separator pit and thence to the water return pit. A water level controller is built-in, between the pits to control the water levels. The water return pit contains a recirculator pump, its discharge is connected, via a sand catcher to the settler unit. The settler is connected to the clean water pit which in turn is connected to the surplus water collector pit. Another controller is located between these to control the water levels (V3,V4). The floatation water pump is located in the clean water pit. The discharge pipe (C) is routed to the wet feed (B). The surplus water pump is located in the surplus water pit, its discharge is preferable connected to the storage unit and/or the irrigation system.
