PURPOSE: To realize a production method for diagnosis and associated purposes thereof by performing immonocytochemistric(ICC) staining of a tissue specimen. CONSTITUTION: The method for preparing a substance containing a specific antigen concentration liquid for ICC comparison test comprises a step for providing a pellet of an appropriate gel, a step for adsorbing the specific antigen concentration liquid to individual pellets, a step for confining the adsorbed antigen concentration liquid in respective pellets, and a step for placing the pellet in the individual recesses in a gel block along with the confined antigen concentration liquid such that the pellet is integrated with the block. Preferably, the pellet is obtained from the gel block as a result of forming recesses in the gel block. Consequently, the pellet is impregnated and fitted well in the recess after the adsorbed antigen concentration liquid is confined therein.
