PURPOSE:To obtain the good conformability of an insulating sealing packing to metallic vessel and sealing plate and improve the airtightness of the sealing part by making the insulating sealing packing of polyether sulfon. CONSTITUTION:A generating element 5 consists of a positive electrode 2, a separater 3 impregnated with the organic solvent electrolyte and negative electrode 4, and an insulating sealing packing 6 made of polyether sulfon is engaged with the inner surface of a vessel 1. A stainless steel sealing plate 7 which doubles as a negative terminal is provided on the negative electrode through this packing 6, and the generating element 5 is sealed in the vessel 1 and the sealing plate 7. By making the insulating sealing packing 6 of polyether solfon having the small water absorption, the superior hydrolysis-proof and the small dieshrinkage factor, the conformability of the insulating sealing packing 6 to the metallic vessel 1 and the metallic sealing plate 7 can be good so as to improve the airtightness of the sealing part. |
