A composition for preventing dental caries is presented. Thus, Lactobacillus casei is inoculated into 5% glucose solution containing skin milk sterilized at 110oC for 15 min, cultured an aerobically at 37oC for 36 hrs, and homogenized (Solution 1). Streptococcus mutans TMD-NC 49 strain is cultured in the above condition, too and homogenized (solution 2). Solution 1 and solution 2 are blended with 10% fructose solution. The cell numbers of L. casei and TMD-NC 49 strains are adjusted to - 108/ml and - 106/ml, respectively to give a final composition. |
