The semiconductor memory dvice for preventing a soft error includes: (a) isolation regions; (b) a cell transistor at least formed at each of isolation regions; (c) a cell condensor with a cylindrical type formed around each of the isolation regions. Each of the isolation regions has two cell transistors which are isolated by an insulating layer. The cell condensor is separated in two parts by the insulating layer.
