PURPOSE:To facilitate the retrieval of a source program to an object code by outputting the page numbers of a source program list to an object code list against the object codes. CONSTITUTION:A line number output means 5 edits a line number 12 stored in a line number storing area 8 and outputs it to an object code list 10. A page number acquiring means 6 inputs the number 12 stored in the area 8and calculates a page number 13 to store this number into a page number storing area 9. A page number output means 7 edits the number 13 stored in the area 9 and outputs it to the list 10. An object code output part 3 acquires an object code via an intermediate text 11 and outputs it to the list 10 after editing. Thus a source program can be easily retrieved corresponding to the object code.
