PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of delay and prevent malfunctions as well as, improve the quality of a circuit design by holding basic cells of delay elements consisting of capacitor elements and resistance elements in an element region. CONSTITUTION:The internal region 100 of an LSI chip is composed of an element region and wiring regions 102 and 103. The element region comprises basic cells 101 of a functional function block and basic cells 111 of delay elements consisting of capacitor elements 121-127 having different capacitance values as well as resistive elements 131-137 having different resistive values and the like. Further, a score of wiring regions pass through the wiring regions 102 and 103 and these wiring regions are provided at edge parts of the internal region 100 and between lines of the basic cells 101. The functional function block 104 is connected to a delay block 112 by using the second aluminum wiring regions 150 and 151, through holes 160 and 161, the first aluminum wiring 170, the wiring regions 102 And 103, and the like. The manufacturing of a semiconductor integrated circuit device is thus realized. |
