PURPOSE:To enable a text document image to be printed by a method wherein a double square character of a designated printing row is converted following a specific regulation, 4 times square character is converted to a corresponding lateral double square character, and a vertical double square character is converted to a corresponding total square character. CONSTITUTION:After inputting a text document from an input device 4 of a document processor 6, a printing row is designated to the text document. Then, each one character is taken out from a buffer from a top character of the designated printing row, and whether it is a four times square character or not is examined. When the four times square character, it is converted to a lateral double square character corresponding to the four times square character. Then, whether it is a vertical double square character or not is examined. When the vertical double square character, the vertical double square character is converted to a corresponding total square character. Then, after expanding a character font by the character taken out from the buffer and the converted character, whether the character of designated printing row is completed or not is examined and this operation is repeated until the character is completed. Lastly, the designated printing row is printed with a manual scan type printing device. Consequently, printing by a text document image will become possible. |
