PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery that can suppress occurrence of crack or breaking in an insulation film of an insulation member interposed between a battery case and an electrode body, and prevent defects caused by breed-out of organic lubricant contained in the insulation film.SOLUTION: A battery 1 comprises a metallic battery case 10, an electrode body 20 housed in the battery case 10, and an insulating member 30 which is formed of an insulating film 31 and interposed between the battery case 10 and the electrode body 20 to insulate both the battery case and the electrode body from each other. The insulating film 31 contains polypropylene-based resin as a main component, and cold xylene-soluble content of 16 wt% or less, has a yield point strength of 2.5 to 7.4 N/10 mm under an atmosphere of 60°C and contains no organic lubricant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
