<p>In accordance with a method and an apparatus for ventilation of working areas (12) in premises (1) wherein unhealthy and harmful pollutive substances (15), primarily in the form e.g. gases, fumes, and dust arise from the work pieces (13), air intake and exhaust units (6, 9) positioned on two opposite walls (3) of the premises (1) are provided. The intake air (7) flows across the premises by way of the working area (12) which is positioned between the air intake and air exhaust units. At the working area (12) the intake air (7) is forced to ascend while trapping and entraining the pollutive substances (15) before the exhaust air, now laden with the pollutive substances, reaches the air exhaust unit (9). The individual (14) working on the work piece (13) commences his work closest to the exhaust air unit (9) with his face turned towards the air intake unit (6) and progresses gradually towards the air intake unit whereby he will always inhale the cleanest possible intake air (7) having the polluted exhaust air (10) at his rear.</p> |
