<p>The claimed innovation is the subject of a prior patent application and is described as a preservative or analagous device which is electrically conducting. The fundamental mateirals referred to in this supplemtn to the original application are natural or synthetic rubbers, elastomers, or similar, either pure, in compounds or in combination with other substances. An acknowledgement to previous state of the art technology is made, wherein organic substances of the above kind are known to be electrically conducting in themselves, in whole or in part and to a greater or lesser extent, or e can be made so by suitable processing during their manufacture. Such processing is typified by polymerisation, vulcanisation or in particular electrophoresis (a separation process for identifying colloids). Electrical conductivity may exist before, during or after this type of processing and is not new.</p> |
