RECOMBINANT NATURAL KILLER CELL-ACTIVATING FACTOR

PURPOSE:To obtain natural killer cell-activating factor having special amino acid sequence. CONSTITUTION:Natural substance of natural killer cell-activating factor is purified by antibody-column affinity-chromatography and sequence of amino acid part in the natural substance is determined. Next, desired cDNA clone is prepared using cDNA library made from mRNA of human T-cell hybridoma according to specified one amino acid sequence. Then, amino acid sequence of natural killer cell-activating factor (NKAF) is determined as the formula from base sequence of resultant cDNA clone and manifestation of recombinant NKAF is performed, thus activity of the recombinant NKAF is confirmed.
