DESCRIPTIVE Sound synthesis process comprising simulating the excitation of a complex structure represented by modal data (modal deforms, resonant frequencies, damping coefficients) and a network of points, digitally determining by successive iterations dynamic variables and converting the values of these variables into an output signal forming a representation of the sound.
