<p>Apparatus for loading bags onto a ship, comprising a vertical chassis and a helical slide in two parts, the upper part of which is securely attached to the said chassis and the lower part of which is supported by a structure suspended from the chassis so as to permit the telescopic displacement of the two parts of the slide, this structure carrying, at its lower end, a conveyor which can be oriented in a horizontal plane by means of rotation about the axis of the slide. In order to permit the loading of bulk materials by means of this apparatus, it is equipped with a vertical tube 38 fastened onto the said chassis 20, with a chute 42, 44, 46 carried by the said structure 22 and arranged so that it is placed under the lower end of the said tube when the said structure is located in a predetermined position, the lower end of this chute emerging above the said conveyor 28 in the axis of the slide 24, 26, and with means 48 for selectively directing the load, brought to the upper end of the apparatus, either towards the slide or towards the tube. <IMAGE></p> |
