PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure excellent gas diffusibility and drainability by simple constitution. SOLUTION: This fuel cell is provided with a first and second separators 14, 16 for sandwiching a cell 12 of the fuel cell. The first separator 14 has fuel gas passages 40a-40n, the narrow first passage parts 42a-42n and the wide first enlarged parts 44a-44n are provided in the fuel gas passages 40a-40n alternately along the gravitational direction to be communicated, and gas pressure is fluctuated by repeating acceleration and deceleration to enhance gas diffusibility and drainability. |
