The invention relates to a separator for centrifugally processing a flowable product, having at least the following features: a. a rotating system with i. at least one rotatable drum (2) which delimits a centrifugal chamber (38) and ii. at least one drive spindle (15) for rotating or driving the drum (2), b. at least one non-rotating housing (1) which surrounds the drum (2); c. a mounting device for mounting the drive spindle in a mounting receiving housing (17) which is arranged or formed on the housing (1), and d. a support arrangement (26) between the outer circumference of the bearing device (19) and the inner circumference of the bearing receiving housing (17), said support arrangement being designed to provide on the whole an elastic radial support of the bearing device (19) on the bearing receiving housing (17), and thus on the housing (1).
