PURPOSE:To eliminate routine exchange of a deodorizing agent by providing control means in which once the state of odor above a predetermined value is detected, heating means is operated for a predetermined time and first and second communication control means are opened in their communication states for a predetermined time. CONSTITUTION:A title refrigerator comprises a communication structure 17 for communicating a cold air inlet 16b of a deodorizing structure 16 having a deodorant and the interior of a refrigerator chamber 3, a communication structure 18 communicating with a cold air outlet 16c of the deodorizing structure, a communication structure 19 for communicating the cold air inlet of the deodorizing structure and the outside of the refrigerator, communication state control means 21, 22 for controlling the state of a communication structure 20 for communicating the cold air inlet of the deodorizing structure and the outside of the refrigerator, heating means 26a, 26b for heating the deodorant, and a detection means 27 for detecting the state of odor at the cold air outlet side of the deodorizing structure. When an output from the detection means 27 is less than a given value, the cold air involving odor molecules passes through the deodorizing structure 16 and the communication structure 18 to adsorb the deodorant 16d of the deodorizing structure, and when the output from the detection means is above the given value, the control means 26a, 26b for a predetermined time and opens the communicating states of the communication state control means 21, 22 for a predetermined time to adsorb the odor adsorbed in the deodorant and discharge it to the outside. |
