PURPOSE:To cook continuously with a product by changing the output power of an inverter circuit with a control circuit in response to the signal from a fan speed detecting means. CONSTITUTION:An induction heating cooker comprises an inverter circuit 15 connected to a commercial power source, a control circuit 20 for controlling the inverter circuit 15, a fan motor 11 for cooling the inverter circuit 15, etc., and a fan speed detecting means 21 for detecting the speed of the fan motor 11 and outputting the signal to the control circuit 20. The control circuit 20 changes the output power of the inverter circuit 15 in response to the detecting signal from a fan speed detecting means 21. Consequently, in the case that a foreign material is inserted from a suction port of the cooling wind and the cooling fan motor is under the locked condition, the output power from the inverter circuit 15 to a pan 24 can be limited so that the temperature of a switching element 18 forming the inverter circuit 15 becomes within the proof temperature. The inverter circuit 15 can be thereby oscillated continuously. |
