PURPOSE:To use a disposer at any time when garbage is generated by accumulating the ground matter of garbage ground in the disposer in a tank to feed the same to a drying chamber and allowing the ground matter to fall on a drum to dry the same. CONSTITUTION:Garbage is ground in the grinding tank 3 of a disposer 2 and the ground matter is accumulated in a tank 25 through a feed pipe 24 along with water. Subsequently, the ground matter is moved to a drying chamber 29 by a feed device 26 and dehydrated through the meshes of the feed device 26 and water is stored in the tank 25. The dehydrated dust fed by the feed device 26 is fed to the drying chamber 29 to fall on a drum 30 and dried by the heated drum 30 and rotated to be scraped off by a wiper 32 to be received in a dry dust receiver 33. By this method, the treatment due to the disposer 2 can be freely performed even during the drying operation of the ground matter. A door 61 is provided to the passage from the tank 25 to the drying chamber 29 and closed when a predetermined time is elapsed after the operation of the feed device 26 and, when the drying chamber 29 is reduced in pressure by a vacuum pump 62, a treatment time can be shortened. |
