PURPOSE:To achieve a separation of a water-soluble compound in a wide range with high resolution in a short time by grafting a specified amine derivative on an inorganic carrier. CONSTITUTION:An amine derivative of the formula I is heated together with an inorganic carrier which has a hydroxy group such as a silica gel, alumina gel or zirconia gel, preferably silica gel on the surface thereof with or without the presence of an organic solvent to obtain a chromatographic packing agent. The shape of the inorganic carrier is preferably fine particles with a uniform grain size. As a result, a water-soluble organic compound can be separated in a short time with high resolution in a wide range. In the formula I, R<1>, R<2> and R<3> represent alkyl with 1C-5C, hydroxylic group and halogen atom, the same or different, R<4> omega-piperidino group, omega-piperadino group or omega-molpholino group, so provided that it may have an substituted group comprising a linear or branched lower alkyl group, where n is integer of 2-10. |
