PURPOSE:To manufacture a mold, inexpensive and of superior molding properties by using a skin material composed of copper electroforming or electroforming with the surface plated with another metal when a metathetically polymerizable monomer is polymerized and molded in a mold. CONSTITUTION:When a metathetically polymerizable monomer is polymerized and molded under the existence of a metathesis polymerization catalyst to manufacture a cured polymer molded product, copper electroforming or electroforming with the surface plated with another metal is used as a skin material of said mold. As for said another metal, nickel chrome or the like is preferred. Polymerization and molding are preferably carried by the reaction injection molding method, and injection, polymerization and molding may also be carried out by injecting into the mold by other injection methods. |
