The invention relates to a data cable with at least two conductors (1) for a differential transmission of data signals and with a casing (4) which surrounds the conductors (1). The data cable according to the invention is characterized in that each of the conductors (1) has a conductor shield (2). The invention further relates to a use of such a data cable, wherein asymmetrical data signals are also transmitted together with differential data signals via at least one of the at least two conductors.
