An apparatus is disclosed for the manufacture, in the open air and in a mold, of plastic material parts from a liquid material e.g. polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in the form of plastisol or organosol or a polyurethane elastomer mixture of at least the two basic components (polyol and isocyanate) with application of an exothermic reaction for causing polymerisation and/or cross-linking of the plastic material comprising means for applying a high frequency electric field to said mold, the mold being made from a material chosen among silicon resins, polyamides and polytetrafluoroethylenes and the means for applying the high frequency electric field comprising a central part, inside the mold, forming a core made from a conducting material adapted to he connected to the earth of a high frequency current generator or a terminal thereof.
