Following formulas are added to basic soju (I), one of liquor, for alkaline (I) as sorbitol, sugar, amino acids, esp. citrate and carbonate salts an Na2CO3, NaHCO3, Na2CO3 + CaCO3 or Na2CO3 + K2CO3. In mixture of citrate and carbonate salts, carbon dioxide gas gives freshness, and cations released make (I) alkaline. This formulation is substituted for saccharine-based (I), which is banned since 1988 Dec.
