Yeasts cell walls-lytic enzymer (I) producing streptomyces sp. KCTC 8466P screened from soil, is prepared from the culture broth at 27-35 deg.C for 3 days on 2% autolyzed washed yeast, 1% glucose, 0.5% peptone, 0.2% NH4CO3, 1% K2HPO4, 0.01% MgSO4-7H2O contg. medium of pH 6-8. (I) is secific to glucomannans of rhodotorula, rather than glucans of sacharomyces, and its specific activity is compared to no vozyme, lycozyme, lysozyme and zymolase.
