METHOD FOR PRODUCING ZEOLITEDRIER

An adsorbent is prepared by (1) treating natural zeolite with an acid and sodium hydroxide solution, 92) treating again with 0.2-1.5N annonia water or 0.2-1.5N ammonium salt (ammonium chloride or ammonium nitrate) solution, and (3) heating and activating the treated zeolite at 300-500 deg.C. The produced adsorbent is used to adsorb gaseous materials, especially water vapor.
