PURPOSE:To execute a bonding operation whose reliability is high at a low- temperature bonding operation by a method wherein a lead piece is brought into direct contact with a heater block even at a preheating operation. CONSTITUTION:A heater block 11 is composed of a bonding part 11A and a preheating part 11B. The preheating part 11B is provided with recessed parts 12 into which stages 2 of a lead frames 1 are fitted loosely in the same manner as the bonding part 11A, and comes into contact with lead pieces 3 of the frame 1. Consequently, at both the bonding part 11A and the preheating part 11B, the stages 2 of the frame 1 come into contact with the bottom of the recessed parts 12 and the lead pieces 3 come into contact with the surface of the heater block 11. |
