The present invention relates to a double composite steel box girder with a central free end and a construction method thereof, capable of efficiently preventing a double composite steel box girder from being rusted by condensation liquid water from rainwater and the like (hereinafter, referred to as percolating water), ensuring structural safety, and reducing its own weight by removing a part of lower concrete at a shear lag part of a point part when a bridge is constructed by the double composite steel box girder. The double composite steel box girder with a central free end comprises a lower flange and both webs. The lower concrete has a central free end at the central part thereof in a transverse direction of a lower flange in which the largest shear lag is generated to compensate for contraction caused by dry contraction of the concrete, thereby preventing gaps of both upper ends of the lower concrete and both webs due to dry contraction. |
