PURPOSE:To improve the reliability and the durability as well as to suppress abrasion or damage by providing a driving means to shift-operate a shift member through a transmission system of operation force and an energizing means which consists of a plurality of belleville springs placed on the way of the transmission system. CONSTITUTION:When an actuator is operated, the operating force is transmitted through a rod 109, a fork 105, and a pressing member 95, and a sleeve 43 is shifted to the left. In this case, when the phases of splines are not fitted in a contact breaking mechanism 91, a spring 111 and a return spring 129 act as a waiting mechanism. The return spring 129 furnishes belleville springs 131 in series, and the spring 111 lines up two sheets of belleville springs 133 superposed. By arranging the belleville springs 131 and 133 in series, the load is presented in almost a constant area responding to the variation of deflections. By putting the scope of all the practical deflections in this area, an almost constant energizing force can be obtained from all the deflections of the springs 111 and 113.
