发明名称 METHOD FOR FORMING POLYPHENYLENE SULFIDE RESIN
摘要 PURPOSE:To check the adhesion of polyphenylene sulfide(PPS) resin under molten state and consequently improve its slipperiness and mold release characteristics to mold and, at the same time, enhance its internal lubricating properties by a method wherein specified parts by weight of stearic acid and of metallic stearate soap are blended with PPS resin. CONSTITUTION:Among lubricants for giving internal lubricating properties to PPS-based neat resin and, at the same time, for checking the adhesion to mold and for performing smooth extrusion molding, stearic acid and metallic stearate soap have slipperriness improvement effect. Concrete, relatively lower shearing stress and melt viscosity reveal, when stearic acid is singly blended with PPS resin, while relatively higher shearing stress and melt viscosity reveal, when calcium stearate is singly blended with PPS resin. When the proper amounts of stearic acid and of calcium stearate are employed in combination, by changing the blending ratio of stearic acid and calcium stearate, shearing stress and viscosity can be controlled arbitrarily. The preferable result is obtained by respectively blending 0.1-2 pts.wt. of stearic acid and of metallic stearate soap with 100 pts.wt. of PPS resin and the more preferable result is obtained by respectively blending 0.2-1 pts.wt. of stearic acid and of metallic stearate soap with 100 pts.wt. of PPS resin.
