<p>This lubrication system, in which the tappet (2) comprises a sleeve (15) having a first hydraulic compression chamber (20) for adjusting the clearance of a corresponding valve, fed from a fluid source by way of at least one first port (18) made in the side wall of the sleeve (15), when the tappet is in the high position, is characterised in that the sleeve (15) has a second hydraulic chamber (21) located above the first, at least one second port (23) opening into the second chamber (21) and made in its side wall above the first at a distance corresponding to the stroke of the tappet, so that the second chamber (21) is fed from the source when the tappet is in the low position, and at least one third port (25) made in its upper wall and opening, on the one hand, into the second chamber (21) and, on the other hand, in the vicinity of the contact surfaces of the cam shaft and of the tappet in order to lubricate them. <IMAGE></p> |
