PURPOSE:To suppress the deterioration of the drivability of a vehicle due to a creep phenomenon in the cold state by applying a brake based on the braking force control quantity determined from the engine temperature and throttle valve opening when the nonneutral state is detected. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 13 is provided to electronically control hydraulic control braking devices 14a-14d provided on rear wheels 4a, 4b and front wheels 12a, 12b, and detected signals of a throttle sensor 8 and a water temperature sensor 9 and the signal indicating the neutral state or nonneutral state of a transmission judged based on an inhibiter switch 11 from an automatic transmission control unit 10 are inputted to the control unit 13. Whether the transmission of an automatic transmission 3 with a torque converter is in the nonneutral state or not is judged, if it is in the nonneutral state, whether the cooling water temperature is the preset temperature or below is judged. If the cooling water temperature is judged to be the preset temperature or below, a larger brake is applied as the cooling water temperature becomes lower. |
