PURPOSE:To perform the good separation of color developer from a microcapsule where pressure developing has been finished by means of releasing agent and to prevent the missing of a picture element by coating a gap between microcapsule where exposure has been finished but the pressure developing has not been finished yet and the color developer with the releasing agent by a releasing agent applicator and performing the pressure developing in the state where the releasing agent is present between the microcapsule and the color developer. CONSTITUTION:When an image recorder is started, at first, an original 45 is exposed on a microcapsule sheet 44 by an exposure device 41. Next, the microcapsule sheet 44 is carried to the releasing agent applicator 20, and the sheet 44 is coated with the releasing agent 21 which is injected with solvent in a sprayed state through a nozzle 24. An ordinary sheet 2 is carried from a supporting cassette 3 into a color developer applicator 1, then, the sheet 2 is coated with the color developer 8 by means of an electrode roller 5 so as to obtain a color developing sheet 10. Thereafter, the microcapsule sheet 44 and the color developing sheet 10 are superposed, and carried between pressure rollers 55 in a pressure developing device 47 so as to perform the pressure developing and to form a color image. The color developing sheet 10 is carried to a thermal fixing device 49, and ejected outside after a fixing operation is performed. Meanwhile, the microcapsule sheet 44 is taken up by a take-up roll 43. |
