PURPOSE:To accurately perform the color conversion of only the color of a desired image part by providing a discrimination part which discriminates whether of not image data read out of image memory is the one at a memory address provided with color to be converted desiring to convert to a desired color designated in advance and outputs the image data when it is the desired one, and a selection part which inputs data of desired color to a print part when the discrimination part outputs it. CONSTITUTION:Red signal digital data RD, blue signal digital data GD, and blue signal digital data BD are inputted from the image memory 22, respectively, and they are compared with data Rxy, Gxy, and Bxy stored in red data memory 2R with color to be converted, green data memory 2G with color to be converted, and blue data memory 2B with color to be converted, respectively, and when match is obtained, a match signal is outputted to an AND circuit 3. When no output is issued from the AND circuit 3, the red signal digital data RD, the green signal digital data GD, and the blue signal digital data BD are inputted to an RGB/YMC color conversion circuit 23, respectively. 4R, 4G,4B-5R, 5G, 5B comprise the selection part 12 of a color assign circuit 10. |
