PURPOSE:To improve the durability of a cable by providing an intermediate connection member between a rotor rotated through a brake arm, and a control cable for transmitting brake force, and by making the line between the intermediate connection member and the final point of the cable, identical with the action force line of the cable. CONSTITUTION:A brake lever 13 is fixed to a rotor 12 supported by shaft on a rotational shaft 11 provided on a car body side, in an integrated form, while an engagement tooth 15 for making the rotor 12 engaged through an engagement claw which is not indicated in the figure, at the time of applying a pedal 14, is provided on a part of the circumferential periphery of the rotor 12. An intermediate connection member 20 is installed on the point where a pair of end materials 12b, 12c that form the rotor 12 are extended outward, while a shaft member 16 is inserted into a long groove 21 formed on the intermediate connection member 20, and an adjustment bolt of a tension adjustment means 30 is inserted into the shaft member 16. A control cable 25 is inserted into a slit 20b under a condition that a terminal member 27 of an inner cable 26 is faced to the long groove 21 of the intermediate connection member 20, while the terminal member 27 is engaged with a bottom part 20a of the intermediate connection member 20, and assembly is thus carried out. |
