1. An image processing apparatus comprising:
an image obtaining unit configured to obtain image data including an object; a distance obtaining unit configured to obtain distance information indicating an object distance from an imaging apparatus capturing the image data to the object for each pixel of the image data, each pixel having a pixel value to be combined with the object distance thereof into a combination; a determination unit configured to compare the combination of each pixel with the combinations of the other pixels so as to detect any pixel having an abnormal combination and determine the pixel having the abnormal combination as a correction target pixel subjected to correction of the distance information; and a correction unit configured to correct the distance information of the correction target pixel determined by the determination unit.
