PURPOSE:To improve the knocking detecting accuracy by converting the scope of the crank angle to pick up the signal, according to the detected frequency of a vibration detecting means, and deciding whether there is a knocking or not in the scope of the crank angle in which the vibration component of the frequency is present most clearly by a knocking. CONSTITUTION:In the operation of an engine 7, a control unit 9 inputs the REF signal or the POS signal from a crank angle sensor 12 to detect the rotation condition of the engine 7, and the detecting signal of a vibration sensor 17 to detect the vibration of the engine 7, and depending on these signals and signals form other various sensors, the fuel feeding amount, the ignition timing, and the like are calculated, and the control signals are output to each actuator. Since the specific frequency of the knocking is fluctuated by the difference of the crank angle when the detecting signals are started to pick up, the vibration sensor 17 picks up the signal in the scope of the crank angle to present the feature of the knocking most clearly when the knocking is decided by the vibration component of a specific frequency, and the knocking is decided. |
