PURPOSE:To obtain a centipede repellent containing an extraction component of plant and an essential oil as active components, having remarkable centipede repelling effect and high safety to human body, emitting the fragrance of forest and giving refreshing image. CONSTITUTION:The objective centipede repellent having low toxicity to human body, exhibiting remarkable repelling effect and especially containing a natural aromatic terpenoid and a phytoncide component as base materials can be produced by using a mixture produced by compounding (A) an extracted component of a plant and an essential oil, (B) one or more kinds of essential oil components of natural Japanese cypress and citrus tree, (C) an aqueous component extracted and separated in the distillation of plant and distilled water, (D) extracted liquid produced by extracting a plant with a solvent liquid such as smoked liquid or alcohol at normal temperature, (E) an essential oil component obtained by the distillation of a mixture of a plant and a smoked liquid and an aqueous component of distilled water, (F) a distilled component, a carbonized material and tar component generated by a high-temperature carbonization treatment during the distillation of a plant or (G) two or more components of the components A to F and further mixing charcoal, surfactant, retainer, promoting agent, etc., to the composition. |
