PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition, containing 3-phenoxybenzyl(1R)-cis, trans-chrysanthemate and N-(2-ethylhexyl)bicyclo[2.2.1]hept-5-ene-2,3- dicarboximide and having low toxicity. CONSTITUTION:The subject composition is obtained by blending 3-phenoxybenzyl(1R)-cis,trans-chrysanthemate and N-(2-ethylhexyl)bicyclo[2.2.1]hept-5-ene-2,3- dicarboximide at (1:2) to (1:5) [preferably (1:3)] weight ratio. The aforementioned composition has low toxicity and is capable of exhibiting remarkable effects on various indoor dust mites such as mites of the families Dermatophagoidinae, Acaridae, Glycyphagidae, Cheyletidae and further Tarsonemidae, Chortoglyphidae, Haplochthoniidae, etc. The aforementioned ingredients are normally mixed with various carriers or impregnated with substrates and added with adjuvants, as necessary, and prepared into formulations of various forms for use. |
