PURPOSE:To obtain profile irregularity and equalizing property with respect to a discharge opening forming surface by connecting an ink communicating member having high rigidity at a sucking body to an ink communicating member consisting of elastic member at a cap. CONSTITUTION:A tube 35d as an ink communication section at cap side has elasticity and a cylindrical section 32d as an ink communication section at cap lever side is formed by a material which can be regarded as a rigid body with respect to the elasticity of the tube 35d. Accordingly, the holding precision of a cap 35 with respect to a lever 32 in a non-capped state i.e., the profile irregularity of the cap 35 with respect to a head discharge opening forming surface can be obtained by the cap lever cylinder section 32d. The equalization of the cap 35 with respect to the head discharge opening forming surface at capping is allowed by deformation of the tube 35d. Thus, both the profile irregularity and the equalizing property with respect to the discharge opening forming surface can be obtained. |
