PURPOSE:To attain a call even at a place, where radio waves are not reached from a radio base station, by repeating radio waves so as to transmit/receive them. CONSTITUTION:At a place such as an outdoor place or the like where the radio waves can be easily reached from the base station, a master set 1 and a slave set 2 are integrated and connected by connectors 12 and 15 so as to use the portable telephone set completely similarly to the conventional one. On the other hand, when using the telephone set at a place such as an indoor place or the like where the radio waves are hardly reached from the base station, the set 1 and the set 2 are separated and the set 1 is installed at a place by the window or the like where the radio waves are easily reached so as to operate the set 1 as a repeater. Thus, the portable telephone set can be used even at a place where the conventional one can not be used.
