PURPOSE:To reduce the man-hours and to enable an operator, who has no knowledge of printed circuit board production information, to input production information whose code is unknown by eliminating a need to analyze production information at the time of input operation of printed circuit board production information whose code is unknown. CONSTITUTION:A code conversion part 3 is provided which converts printed circuit board production information conforming to one given code to that conforming to another code, and a code discriminating part 2 which discriminates the classification of the code, to which given printed circuit board production information conforms, in accordance with frequencies in appearance of numerical values except a specific numerical value constituting the code is provided as the means characterizing this invention. Printed circuit board production information is read from a medium like a magnetic tape, a paper tape, a magnetic disk, or an online medium by an information input part 1. The part 2 determines the code in accordance with the frequency in appearance of an arbitrary character of inputted production information. The part 3 performs code conversion in accordance with the determined code, and an information output part 4 outputs converted production information to a medium like a magnetic tape or a magnetic disk. |
