The subject of the invention is a fixing device for fastening an oven's hollow corner section, which fixing device comprises a shaft 1, one end 2 of which is arranged to be fixed to refractory element 4 located next to the corner section 3. Fixing of the corner sections with existing fixing devices is troublesome. The fixing device's other end 5, according to the invention, extends inside the corner sectional part and is curved in such a way that it extends behind and supports itself against the inner surface of the corner section. <IMAGE>
