The pivot bearing for a door lock setting drive in an automobile uses 2 coaxial bearing pins (9) attached to the housing (8) of the setting drive (7) on opposite sides, fitting in respective C-shaped seatings (11) provided by 2 parallel arms (10) of a holder. The seating (11) has an insertion slit (12) of slightly lesser width than the bearing pin dia. and deformable to allow insertion of the bearing pin (9). Pref. each hollow bearing pin (9) has an outer dia. of between 8 and 15 mm and a wall thickness of between 1 and 3 mm. ADVANTAGE - Simplified assembly.
