The method is used for improving wear resistance or life of the cutting edge the circular saw attached on a mower or combine for cutting grass or straw. The method comprises the steps; cutting metallic material to a circular plate and simultaneously forming an opening at the center of the plate; forming teeth on the periphery of the plate by press-stamping; heat-treating the plate having teeth; grinding a side of the teeth for cutting edge; electro-depositing nickel coated layer and diamond powder on the inclined edge; depositing nickel coated layer on the rear side of edge.
