PURPOSE:To improve a polishing speed and to prevent a flaw from generating, in finishing the small hole of a hard brittle material by polishing. CONSTITUTION:A taper wire is moved in the direction of increasing its diameter while applying rotating and reciprocating motions, with the rough prepared hole of the body to be worked for jewel, etc., of a clock being introduced with the fine tip of the taper wire and fixed with a rock. The straight line part is held on the one part in a sectional shape of this taper wire, an abrasive is interposed in this gap and the polishing efficiency is increased. |
