PURPOSE:To obtain an arterialization-inhibiting agent such as an antiulcer agent containing FR-901448 substance and FR-901449 (new) substance obtained by culturing a microorganism belonging to the genus Chaetasbolisia as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:An arterialization-inhibiting agent containing a compound expressed by the formula (X is H or Cl) as an active ingredient is produced. The compound expressed by the formula is obtained by culturing FR-901448 substance and FR-901449 substance-producing mold belonging to the genus Chaetasbolisia and the FR-901449 substance therein is a new substance.
